OCTOBER 14TH, 2021 | We should never compare ourselves to others. The Lord planned us to prosper and to have hope and a future. We are His children and must trust His plan is the best plan. In this world there will always be people who are richer and poorer than we are. People who are happier and sadder than we are. People whose marriages are better and worse than ours. No one really knows what goes on behind closed doors.
The real truth is that you are unique—a one-of-a-kind vessel created by the Potter’s hand. Isaiah 64:8 (NIV) says, “Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are the work of your hand.” You are loved. Jeremiah 31:3 (NIV) says, “…I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.” You are needed. You were not an accident, and you were not a mistake. Your Father planned your birth before the foundation of the world. He knew what color your eyes and skin would be, who your parents would be, and everything that you would go through. He loved you first; therefore, you count the most!
You Count
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Father, help me not to compare my life to others’ lives. Instead, help me live the life You gave to me to the best of my God-given ability.
Father, thank You for planning me, designing me, and living in me! Help me to rise, shine, and be proud of the creation I am.
