Whose Blueprint Is Better?

JUNE 23rd, 2022      |    A house is only as good as the one who builds it. Shabby construction makes a ramshackle structure, but a master craftsman builds a house that’s strong and can endure great storms. Mortar used in building a fireplace has special properties that make it even stronger when exposed to fire. That’s why we see the fireplace still standing when a house burns to the ground. If this applies to wood and bricks, how much more should it apply to our lives? Who is building our lives? Are we trying to do it in our own strength? With our limited knowledge, are we building on a weak foundation? Do we have the tools we need to build a life that will stand up when all that can be shaken is shaken? Do we get stronger when the fiery trials come our way? Are we still standing when everything around us is burnt to the ground? Unless the Lord builds the house, we labor in vain. So, why not let the Master Craftsman do it in the first place? With the Master Builder, we can stand strong, we can survive the fiery trials, and we can withstand the storms. Why? The blueprints are carved in the Master’s hand.

Whose Blueprint is Better?

Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the guard stands watch in vain. –Psalm 127:1 NIV

Ask the Lord to expose and fill any holes in the foundation of your life.

Thank the Lord for being your rock and firm foundation.
