Who Fights Your Battles?

SEPTEMBER 11TH, 2020      |        When someone or something comes against you, remember that you’re not grappling with a human foe. Just as every good thing comes from the Lord, every kind of evil comes from Satan. On September 11, 2001, Satan declared war on America, choosing airplanes full of innocent people as his weapons and creating a tragedy of staggering proportions.

Blessedly, God fights every battle. We simply need to trust Him. He sees everything in the heavenly realm, on the earth, and under the earth. He knows exactly which battle plan to execute, how to outsmart and outmaneuver the enemy, and how to create goodness from chaos.

After September 11th, we grieved as one nation, and we healed together as well. God wrapped His arms around us and carried us through the war zone, depositing us safely on solid ground in peaceful territory. Through raging wars and everyday scuffles, He continuously defeats our only enemy: the father of darkness and lies. Stand your ground and let God fight for you.

Who Fights Your Battles?

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

–Ephesians 6:12 NIV

Father, I pray for deliverance and healing across our nation when Satan attacks.

Lord, help me remember that when everything is falling apart, You’re fighting my battles.
