Two Ways to Defeat the Accuser

NOVEMBER 17TH, 2021      |     Revelation 12:11 describes two ways our enemy, the accuser, was defeated, “by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.”

Jesus has finished the first part of this verse with His death on the Cross, shedding the blood of the Lamb. Have you received the life-giving, redeeming blood of the Lamb? Does the blood of Jesus Christ flow through you, bringing life to your spirit? Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins. Don’t be dead in your sins—be forgiven by His shed blood.

The second part is the word of your testimony. Have you told anyone that God has forgiven you and washed away your sins? That is the most exciting news ever! When was the last time you shared what God is doing in your life? Have you drifted so far from your relationship with God that you don’t know, see, or feel His power in your life anymore?

Does that make you feel stagnant and defeated? Don’t let the enemy tell you lies and get you down. Remember who God is and what He does for you. The accuser tells you that you are worthless. God tells you that you are more than worthy—you are His child. Let’s tell others about Him!

Two Ways to Defeat the Accuser

They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.

Lord, may I not love myself so much that I forget about You. You gave me life for Your purposes, not my own. Holy Spirit, help me follow God’s plan.

Lord, help me speak the word of my testimony. Your work in my life is the strongest evidence of Your power. Speak through me.
