God’s Ways Are Higher

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. –Isaiah 41:10 NIV

When things don’t work out the way we wanted, do we stop trusting God? We have a choice to make. If we don’t have God to turn to, then what do we have? We need to stay grounded in His Word. It is a commitment and may not always be easy to do, but we are not alone. He promised that He is with us and will never leave us. That is a promise and brings us comfort. We have to realize God holds our hand even when we are fearful and negative thoughts are attacking our mind. He will make sure we don’t fall. He will be right beside us. Even when we don’t know how God is going to work things out, we have to put our faith at work. Faith is believing what we don’t see. If things don’t turn out the way we wanted, our faith is not wasted. Sometimes God’s answer is no. But we have to remember that whatever the outcome, God is still involved. In Heaven, there won’t be trials; but while we are still here on earth, we do experience them. Remember, He has a bigger purpose than what is before our limited eyes. Trust!
