He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. –Colossians 1:15 NKJV
God, is Jehovah-Tsidqenu, our Righteousness. God is holy and desires for us to be holy. The Lord created us in His own image. He did so for the purpose of us being with Him in continual communion. Then sin entered into the heart of humankind. Our God, Jehovah, found a way to mend the separation that occurred between Him and all of humanity. Our Jehovah-Tsidqenu manifested Himself into the sacrificial Lamb of Atonement, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who washed away the sins that separated us from Him.
Jesus is the image of the invisible God, Jehovah, on earth because it pleased the Father to have all of humanity reconciled through Him, through Jesus. Dear friend, through the precious blood of Jesus, we are reconciled to our heavenly Father, our Righteousness, as we are also transformed into His righteousness. Blessed be the name of Jesus our Savior, because in the body of His flesh, through death on the Cross, He has presented us blameless without reproach before our Jehovah-Tsidqenu.
Come, my friend, on this very day surrender your heart to Jesus and enter into His Righteousness.
- Help me, Lord, to live my life daily in holiness and righteousness before You.
- Holy Spirit, transform me day by day to be the person I was created to be.
