This Thanksgiving, Try This

NOVEMBER 23RD, 2020      |      How do you show God how much you sincerely love Him in ways that are meaningful to Him? After all, He created and owns the very air you and I are breathing right now. So what could we possibly do to show Him how thankful we are for out health, friends, and the wonderful privilege of living in the United States of America? Is there anything else  we can do to speak His love language? Something really near and dear to His heart.

God has a soft spot for others, just like He does for you, and there are ways of “loving others” on His behalf that are very important to Him. Jesus says in Matthew 25:35-40 (NLT) that when we clothe and feed the hungry and visit the sick and imprisoned, we are doing this unto Him as well: “I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!”

Take advantage of this inside scoop on how to do something for the God of the universe in a meaningful and personal way. This Thanksgiving, be the “hands and heart of Jesus” to someone, would you?

This Thanksgiving, Try This

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home.

–Matthew 25:34-35 NLT

Thank God for the things you cherish most, positioning your heart in a state of thankfulness.

Ask God to give you a heart of compassion and to use you as His hands and feet to the people around you.
