The New Covenant

APRIL 4TH, 2021      |      When Mary Magdalene and two others arrived at the tomb early on the third day, a young man was sitting inside the tomb. “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here,” the man said. The women trembled and were amazed, yet too afraid to tell anyone (see Mark 16:1-8). Later in the day Jesus appeared to a variety of people in a variety of ways. Praise God!

Jesus is the New Covenant who was promised in the Old Covenant. Isaiah 53:5-12 (NKJV) says, “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities…by His stripes we are healed…He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.”

Hallelujah! We know the Risen Savior who is Christ the Lord, who reigns forever and is seated with God! As a well-known song proclaims, “Because He lives, I can face tomorrow. Because He lives, all fear is gone. Because I know He holds the future, and life is worth the living just because He lives.”

The New Covenant

And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you…This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.”

–Luke 22:19-20 NKJV

Praise God for His infinite love that assures you of eternal life with Him.

Worship God for who He is and His promise to never leave you or forsake you.
