The Love Letter

NOVEMBER 16TH, 2021      |      On many occasions, you might have heard someone say that the Bible is God’s love letter to us. You might have heard this from a pastor or read it in a book. This is so true! God’s Word does express His deep love for us. Verse after verse gives us insight into how to handle life’s trials and blessings. Even though it was written so long ago, it covers topics still relevant today.

God is the good Father who wants us to read His Word to guide us on the right path. By committing each day to read the Bible, we grow closer to God. Isaiah 40:8 (NIV) says, “The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.” We can trust every verse written in the Bible.

Ask the Holy Spirit to give you a hunger for reading, praying, and seeking truth. May that fuel a deeper love for the Bible—His love letter to us. May we never take that for granted.

The Love Letter

…People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.

Thank You, Lord, for Your Word, Your mercy, and Your love.

Forgive me, Lord, for not reading Your word more often.
