The Lord Will Receive You

DECEMBER 18TH, 2022      |    For many, the holidays can generate painful reminders of things they don’t have. Whether vacations they can’t afford to take, presents they aren’t able to buy, or more importantly, the absence of family or friends with whom to share these festivities.

As we celebrate Christmas, remember that, in Christ Jesus, you are never alone in this world. Jesus was born on earth so that you could have an eternal relationship with Him. That’s how much He cares for you.

Whether or not your earthly mother or father loved you, your heavenly Father always will. Take time today to revel in this blessed assurance. During times of solitude, sit back and talk to God, spending time in His Word and soaking in His love. You can count on Him. He will always be there.

The Lord Will Receive You

Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me.

In times of loneliness, pray that the Lord will help you sense His great love for you.

Pray that the Lord will direct you to someone who is alone with whom you could share His love.
