The Lord Is There

SEPTEMBER 4TH, 2021      |      There is joy in knowing we can trust God unconditionally—that He is an ever-present help in all our troubles (Psalm 46:1). There is joy in knowing that we shall lack nothing; that no matter where we go, He will be with us—we have no need to fear anything (Psalm 23).

The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped… (Psalm 28:7 NKJV).

How wonderful and glorious when we can rejoice in the Lord and praise Him in the midst of all our troubles because we know that He is right there beside us. He is there, my friend, holding us securely in His arms where we are kept safe as we go through the roaring tempest that throws us to and fro.

He is there to console us through every negative situation in our lives. “When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy” (Psalm 94:19 NIV). Job lost everything he had, but he was still able to proclaim, “My Redeemer lives” (Job 19:25 NKJV). My friend, as He was with Job, He will be with you!

Ask God to give you joy, peace, and strength through your most difficult times.

Ask that, through the help of the Holy Spirit, nothing will cloud your focus on Him.
