The Child of the King

NOVEMBER 8TH, 2020      |     Have you ever had a season in your life when you thought you could not endure? A time when your situation consumed every thought throughout your day? You are not alone, my friend. Many of us have had such moments.

The good news is that as a child of the King, He sees every single tear drop that falls from your eyes. He feels the pain in your heart. Psalm 55:22 (NIV) says, “Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you.” Our King, Lord Jesus, will never, ever leave you or forsake you. Weeping may remain for the night, but just as certain as the nighttime comes, morning always comes as well (see Psalm 30:5). Your suffering and pain will not last forever, for the God of hope will bring you peace and joy, even in the midst of your turbulent season.

Reach out as the child of the King, to your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Keep your eyes fixed on the King of Glory, for He will come in and lift you up and make you whole. May the name that is above every name be praised. Amen.

Thank You, Father, for receiving me at the foot of the throne as I come to You on bended knee.

Jesus, thank You for Your sweet Holy Spirit who strengthens and sustains me.
