The Center of Your Universe

We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.-Proverbs 16:9 NLT

Who is at the center of your universe? For far too many of us, the answer is “me”, “it’s all about me.” I am responsible for my life; my family; my job; my money and even my church. But God wants you to put Him at the center of your universe.

God says, “For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and no one is like me.” When life becomes unmanageable, it’s time to re-center your universe around the one who actually created it. The earth, moon and stars do revolve around him so why not jump off that throne and turn it over.

Make it His life, family, job, money, and church. He can manage them all. Put God back on the throne where He belongs and focus all of your efforts where you belong: seeking only to please Him. Watch as your load lightens and life becomes simpler.

He has a very special role for you in His universe that He will begin to perfect only when you “let go” of your own plans and allow Him to take control.
