Prayerfully

OCTOBER 30TH, 2021      |    God still hears and answers the prayers of His people when they diligently seek His face. In Nehemiah chapter 1, Hanani and other men told Nehemiah of the poor condition of the Jews who had escaped and survived captivity and about the horrible condition of Jerusalem’s walls. The report brought great despair to Nehemiah, driving him to pray for God’s favor and provision before he took further action.

His request was for the Lord to work in the heart of King Artaxerxes for compassion and favor to allow the walls to be rebuilt (Nehemiah 2:4-6). Nehemiah prayed before the request was made that God would work on the heart of King Artaxerxes to grant this request for provision and provide all that was needed to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem.

When you consider decisions about your tithing and offerings, such as how much to give, where to give, and when to give, ask the Lord for His guidance. His promise is to guide us when we pray, and we can trust He is orchestrating a divine appointment for us to contribute to His perfect plan and make an eternal impact.

Prayerfully

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Philippians 4:6 NIV

Before you have to make a big decision, spend time talking to God about it and seeking His guidance for your future.

If that decision is regarding your finances, ask God to help you know how to be wise along with making an eternal impact with your money.
