Plugged In

MAY 11TH, 2020      |       What happens if you buy a washing machine but never plug it in? Will it do a good job of cleaning your clothes? Of course not! Much like our appliances aren’t helpful if they aren’t plugged in, our life is not going to go well if we are relying on any source other than God Himself. Emotions do not make for a good director!

Are we running our race well, or are we stuck in idle? Are we plugging in and relying on God’s Word and the Holy Spirit throughout each day? Is our view of God correct? If we have a personal relationship with our Creator, we’ll find ourselves, our relationships, and, in general, our life revived and flourishing. He wants to know you and your heart more than He wants any act or work from you. God breathes life into every area of our life when we put Him first. Each day is a new start. No matter the season, we must keep looking up! God has got us more than covered.

Plugged In

Follow the pattern of the sound words that you have heard from me, in the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.

Father, thank You for sending Jesus. Help me to fully accept this free gift and share it with others.

God, I ask that You breathe newness into my life, and help me to let go of anything that no longer aligns with Your purpose.
