Order of the Day

OCTOBER 2ND, 2020      |      Without order you wouldn’t be able to read this, it would just be a page of random letters. A symphony would be chaotic notes, military troops would have no strategy, and football teams would have no plays.

Sometimes our lives might feel like they’re coming apart at the seams, especially since COVID-19. However, there are things going on behind the scenes bringing order from all our chaos. Sometimes the things we’re going through are the best things for us. They’re usually not what we want or enjoy, but they can be exactly what we need. Through uncertainties we learn that we can’t handle life on our own. We learn to trust and to wait; and in the process, we grow.

Suddenly, what seemed so important a few weeks ago isn’t today. Our lives are not an accident, and nothing comes as a surprise to our Father. Behind the scenes, divine order is working to make our crooked paths straight. Out of the chaos of life can come a beautiful peace. Isaiah 26:3 (ESV) says, “You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.” Trust the Father to bring peace from your chaos.

Order of the Day

For God is not a God of disorder but of peace—as in all the congregations of the Lord’s people.

–1 Corinthians 14:33 NIV

When trying times come, refuse to get discouraged. Thank the Father for working behind the scenes on your behalf.

Let the peace of God rule and reign over your fears. What you can’t see, God can. He can repair, renew, and restore all.
