One Year Left to Live

March 22, 2021      |      If you knew for certain you had only one year left to live, what one thing would you regret not doing before you ran out of days?

If God has been impressing upon your heart to accomplish a certain thing, stop procrastinating and go about doing it. Such might be—forgiving someone, telling loved ones how much you love them, visiting a close relative you haven’t seen in a long time, or completing a project God has placed on your heart.

Don’t let this year slip by without doing or perhaps steadily working toward the “one” thing you’d regret not completing if you only had one year left to live. Surely, when the good Lord calls you home, you would love to hear Him say, “Well done My good and faithful one. You completed what I inscribed upon your heart to do” (see Matthew 25:21).

You are still here for a reason, which means God’s not finished with you yet! God wants to use your life to make a difference in the lives of others.

One Year Left to Live

Everything has its own time, and there is a specific time for every activity under heaven: a time to be born and a time to die…

—Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 GW

Pray God would impress upon your heart the desires of His heart for you.

Ask the Holy Spirit to help you achieve the one important thing you’d regret not completing before the Lord calls you home.
