One Way to Heaven

AUGUST 6th, 2022      |    Our Lord explained to the Apostle Thomas the way to Heaven. John 14:6 (NLT) says, “Jesus told him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.’” When we try to get there on our own merit, we are clearly on the wrong path. No amount of good works will lead to eternal life. Although the path is open to all of us, we have a free will. Our Lord will never force us to love him. We must invite Him to live in our hearts, realizing that God gave us His Son, Jesus, who shed His blood on the cross for us. Jesus went to the cross freely because of His love for us. As we repent of our sins and invite Him to live in our hearts, we have forgiveness of our sins and the assurance of salvation. Jesus is our Savior. Once we accept His free gift, we can look forward to eternal life with God.

Thank the Lord for His incredible gift of salvation.

If you have not already accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, confess and repent of your sins and invite Him to reign in your heart.
