Never Give Up

Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. –Ephesians 6:13 NIV

We can use our words to describe our situation or attempt to change it. We can focus on the negative, or we can diligently dig for the positive. We can give up before we begin, or dig our heels in deep not giving up until the last day. Life is not a sprint; it’s a marathon. We must keep our eyes focused on the finish line. Many things WILL come against us, and we may too often want to give up. Keep going! When we are weak, He is strong. I have been young, and now I am getting older. I am alive because I refused to quit no matter how deep the pain that begged me to give up became. There is always something to be thankful for, always something positive to focus on, always a reason to go on. Refuse to give up until you find your hope, all you have to lose is despair. There you will find joy that defies all circumstances and peace that surpasses all understanding. He’s often in the waiting, and many times we find His presence sweeter as we pass through the valley of the shadow of death. Nothing can separate us from His love.
