Living In God’s Perfect Design

Ephesians 3:17 talks about the foundation and source of your life. Roots are what give a plant the ability to both sustain life as well as produce flowers or fruit. The foundation is what ensures the roots are able to go deep enough to produce a strong, thriving plant.

If an apple tree takes root in a pot on your windowsill but is never replanted outside, the tree will never reach its full potential because the roots will run out of space. When the tree is replanted into the proper foundation it can grow and flourish, producing apples year after year.

As you begin to build your life upon God’s Word, you are making His truths the foundation of your life. God shows you the way you were designed to live throughout scripture. When you begin to apply this perfect design to your life, you become unshakable. Circumstances cannot control you when you are in alignment with God’s will for your life.

Financial stress will decrease because your priorities will be re-aligned with how He tells you to use your money. You will no longer live with worry because your trust will grow as you realize God is in control. As you begin being “others-focused” you will find fulfillment in serving others over yourself.
