But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.
–John 14:26 ESV
Are you struggling to stay focused? When you take time to ask God for help, the Holy Spirit is faithful to remind you of God’s Word and His promises to you.
We live in a world where access to information is easy. You can learn how to repair your car, program a computer, and play a musical instrument with very little research, but that doesn’t mean you have time. Between God, family, work, personal health, and other responsibilities, you’re probably pulled in so many directions that maintaining proper focus is difficult.
Ask God to help you prioritize your life. What is important to you isn’t necessarily at the top of God’s list for your life. When you say no to the less important activities and put more time and energy into what God wills for you, your focus improves, and the fruits of that focus develops.
- Ask God to show you what He wants at the top of your priority list.
- Ask God to bring people to your life who will encourage you.
