Just Breathe

OCTOBER 15TH, 2020      |      Just like the song tells us to “Just Breathe,” sometimes that is all we can do. Thankful we are waking up each morning because God has given us another day. During the worldwide pandemic, many people feel helpless. It is difficult to find peace in these times. That is why we need Jesus.

We can’t have our own sense of peace without the only One who is really in control. God knows our future. He goes before us and knows the plans He has for us—nothing is a surprise for the Father. He knew from the beginning this pandemic would occur, and He also knows when it will end. We have to trust that our future is securely in His hands, that is what we need to hold on to to. If we look at our circumstances without seeking God, we may become debilitated. Yes, the virus is real, so we have to do what we can to stay healthy and strong. Everything is in God’s hands. Trust Him!

Just Breathe

In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe.

–Psalm 4:8 NLT

God, please meet me in the middle of this mess. I want to trust You!

Lord, help me keep my eyes up and put my fears at the foot of the Cross.
