Just as You Are

Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is put out of sight! –Psalm 32:1 NLT

God has given you a free will. You are completely in control of the choices you make. However, there is an adversary who wants to influence your decisions and to fill your thoughts. As 1 Peter 5:8 (NLT) warns, “Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.”

Satan is crafty, and he knows all your weak points. When facing this roaring lion, know that his plans are not good for you. But God understands your weaknesses, and when you falter, He offers restoration and renewal. You can claim these benefits because God gives to those He loves. His perfect gift was Jesus who came to set you free. Come to Him just as you are. In Him, you can find forgiveness, love, and acceptance. There is NOTHING that can separate you from His love.

Wrong decisions in life are not the end of the story when you come to Jesus. He is knocking at the door of your heart—open it and be transformed.
