For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. –Ephesians 2:10 NKJV
What were you created to do? Not what everyone else wants you to do, but what God wants you to do. God has given you gifts; He created you to bless Him and others through your gifts. As the Word says in 1 Peter 4:11 (NKJV), “…with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may God be glorified….” Psalm 37:4 (NKJV) says, “Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.” What captivates your heart, what’s your passion? Writing, teaching, and encouraging are just a few gifts with which people are blessed. Pray and truly seek God for wisdom and direction to find what you have inside you to share. God created you specifically to be you, not someone else. If you don’t know what your gifts are, start serving others in various ways and see what energizes you and blesses others. There is great satisfaction in discovering what God planted in you. Expand your skills and knowledge and then use your gift to glorify your Father in Heaven.
Thank God for designing you for a specific purpose according to His will.
Ask the Holy Spirit to help you minister to others with the gifts God gave you.
