Introduction To Jesus

But God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. -Romans 5:8 ESV

Before you were born, before we made our messes, the God of the Universe came to the world in the form of a baby in a manger.

He lived a life without sin, raised by two imperfect humans – Joseph and Mary. He had followers called “disciples.” He performed many miracles healing the sick and allowing the blind to see.

His disciples saw His power miracle after miracle. He was hated by many others. Eventually, He was betrayed by one of His own disciples, Judas. He prophesied this. He could have stopped it.

Yet He so deeply desired eternal salvation for you – a sinner – that He chose to be beaten and tortured. He chose to die on a wooden cross between two true criminals. His unconditional love for you kept Him on a cross in front of a crowd of people who mocked Him.

Are there other routes to God? Is Jesus truly the only way? Remember, Jesus was without blame. You can trust His words fully. He said, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6 (NKJV).

His name is Jesus and He is for you. He desires you. Nothing you have done can keep you from His redeeming love. Draw near.
