In Remembrance Of…

MAY 25TH, 2020      |       Throughout the United States of America, Memorial Day is a day for us to pause from life’s happenings, so we can bring remembrance and honor to those who served, fought, gave, and continue to give up their lives on behalf of this nation and for our freedom and protection. Thus, may we all pause and give honorable thanks to those who have and are serving this country and its people so all can enjoy life and liberty while on Earth.

There’s another man, Christ Jesus—through His blood, sweat, and tears—who deserves remembrance and honor for giving up His life for all humanity. Jesus brought forth the new covenant between God and people. A treaty established by the shedding of His blood, which was poured out as a sacrifice for you, me, and all mankind, so we can enjoy everlasting life with God and other believers.

Pause and give thanks to the One who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (see John 14:6). Thank God that He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.

In Remembrance Of…

He took some bread and gave thanks to God for it. Then he broke it in pieces and gave it to the disciples, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”

–Luke 22:19 NLT

Ask God to protect and bless all those who are currently serving and defending our country and its people.

Thank Jesus for giving up His life for you. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you leave a legacy that paves the way for others.
