Hold on, Don’t Let Go

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

It’s easy to become discouraged and downcast when we have a lot going on in our lives. Storms come in different shapes and sizes: relational, financial, physical, mental, and emotional. During these storms, it can feel like a roller coaster of feelings and emotions is controlling us.

However, instead of letting these emotions control us, it’s crucial to find a steady balance by standing on the Word of God and being encouraged during these storms by God’s truth found in His Word. In times of need, we must begin to practice the habit of turning to the Word of God for help with our problems. Every time He will meet us right where we need Him. He only knows how to be faithful.

May we be encouraged today by spending time in God’s Word. As we travel through whatever storm has hit our lives and allow this to strengthen us, we must keep moving forward. God is with us and is always helping us!

Spend time in prayer leaving all your cares, worries, and burdens at His feet, and trust that He is there with you.

Be vulnerable—tell God exactly where you feel hurt, discouraged, or weak. Ask Him for help; He’s always available.
