God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM….” –Exodus 3:14 NIV
There are people today who are wondering if they read Exodus 3:14 correctly. They pray they did. One is the woman caring for an aging parent while preparing meals for her children. Another is the grandmother caring for adorable grandchildren after cleaning the home of her father. Squished between two generations, like nutty peanut butter between bread, the “sandwich” generation continues to increase. Are you living in that space? Are you squished between two pieces of life and feeling like you just might ooze out? You are not alone. God sees your service; He knows your heart. He understands the burdens and wants to walk with you. Times like these create two opportunities: You can lean into Him, or you can lean away from Him.Use this time to move closer to God the Father. Bring beauty from ashes and watch as He proves “I AM WHO I AM” is really true.
Write down the burdens of your heart and place them in your Bible.
Talk to God about them and trust He knows best. Ask God to reveal Himself in the daily things you do. Rejoice in those revelations.
