God, Bless Me Indeed!

And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So God granted him what he requested. –1 Chronicles 4:10 NKJV

Has it been awhile since God pushed you out of your comfort zone and stretched you beyond your borders? If so, ready yourself to be blessed, to be used, and to be moved by God to impact the lives of others for His greater Kingdom purposes. You may ask, “How can God bless, use, and move me in greater and broader ways?” With a clean heart and pure motives, start professing the Prayer of Jabez. You’ll be changed, others will be blessed, and God will receive glory as He satisfies your appeal.Like Jabez, pray, “Oh, God, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” Then watch what God does in you, for you, and through you in blessing others! He will bless you inwardly and outwardly. He will bless you with opportunities where you can be a positive influence on others. His gracious hand will be with you every step of the way. He will protect you from evil, and His Spirit within you will prevent you from causing pain to others.
