Faithful God

JANUARY 26TH, 2021      |        God—strong and mighty, loving and kind. God—forgiving and merciful, full of compassion. All powerful, all knowing, just and true is He. “Who is like the Lord our God!” the psalmist exclaims. No one comes close to God’s goodness. Nothing compares with His greatness. But one characteristic of God settles the soul—His faithfulness.

God is steady, sure, and stable. He is dependable, trustworthy, and ever true to His promises. You can count on Him—what He says, He will do; what He promised, He will perform. God is reliable and will complete the good work He began in you. The number of your days and His good plans He will fulfill. If you love Him, He’s working everything for your good and even when you are faithless, He remains faithful—fixed, firm, unchanging.

What has the Lord spoken to your heart? What promise is He highlighting in His Word? Write it down. Pray about it. Thank Him for fulfilling that promise in your life. Be patient, remain grateful, and when He brings it to pass, boldly proclaim His faithfulness.

Faithful God

The One Who called you is faithful and will do what He promised.

Remember past times when God proved faithful to you and thank Him for them.

Ask the Lord to help you be aware of His faithfulness in your life.
