Easter Tidings

APRIL 12TH, 2020      |      Every year, Christians worldwide celebrate Resurrection Sunday, aka Easter. If not for what Jesus accomplished on the Cross and overcame in the tomb, there would be nothing to rejoice or look forward to.

Take your time reading through this EASTER acronym, which represents what takes place when you receive Jesus as your Savior. If Christ is already your Lord, may it serve as a reminder to live in The Life, The Way, and The Truth.

Enjoy eternal life with God while enjoying His presence now.
Acknowledge Jesus as your Savior and your name will be written in the book of life.
Salvation from the penalty of sin and death takes place when you accept Christ Jesus as your Redeemer.
Tell others about your Lord, which is the Great Commission, so they can be saved too.
Enter the process of sanctification through God’s Holy Spirit living inside you, so you can begin living a holy, Spirit-filled life.
Resist your former lifestyle; instead, live the resurrected life Christ died on the Cross for you to have and make an impact for God’s Kingdom.

Shout a halleluiah! Jesus is alive and He’s coming back again.

EASTER TIDINGS

You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter, “He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.”

–Mark 16:6-7 NIV

Thank Jesus for dying on the Cross so that you can have eternal life in God’s new Kingdom.

Ask God for grace and power and opportunities to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus.
