DAY TWELVE | Praying for our Leaders

Moses’ arms soon became so tired he could no longer hold them up. So Aaron and Hur found a stone for him to sit on. Then they stood on each side of Moses, holding up his hands. So his hands held steady until sunset.

Our Nation: Praying for our Leaders

Most people would agree that being a politician these days is not an enviable position. In the US, there has always been “two sides of the aisle” and two sides to every story. But now, in this age of 24/7 chitchatting, there are innumerable sides to every story, causing dissention and disdain.

As Christians, we are urged to support our leaders in prayer, raising our hands to the Lord, asking His divine guidance and grace for those with immense responsibility. God alone knows the true story within hearts and minds.

Just as Aaron and Hur stood on either side of Moses, the leader, we too should hold up holy hands to God as political battles rage. During this election year, may we seek His wisdom and search for peace that will bring unity to all who are blessed to live in our great nation.

Take some time today and pray for this election season. Ask that God’s plan would come to fruition.

Pray for our current and future leaders; for Godly guidance and favor over this year.
