Come in From the Rain

March 21, 2021      |      “Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice insofar as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed” (1 Peter 4:12-13 ESV).

The message here is one of triumph. You walk in the power of the name of Jesus! By being in Christ you live in grace, the grace of your Father in Heaven. He wants to know you. He wants you to come to Him, to commune with Him, to sacrifice yourself and lay down your life and accept the sacrifices of His Son. In that way, He can lift you up in Him to a new life and forever at His side.

You can take solace in the fact no matter what you are faced with, you are covered by His grace. You do not have to live in the bondage of fear. Grace means you are covered in the storm, not that you won’t walk through it. You walk through the storm strong in the knowledge Jesus is at your side!

Come in From the Rain

I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.

–John 16:33 NLT

Thank God no matter what you are faced with, you can find peace in His grace and power in the name of His Son, Jesus.

Ask God to help you walk triumphantly through the storm that faces you. Ask Him to cover you with His grace, protection, and peace.
