LET GO & LET GOD

APRIL 8TH, 2020     |      Most of us are familiar with the phrase “Let go and let God.” In the days we are living in, it is much more than a cliché, it’s a truth to live by.  Life is coming at us with challenges that are completely out of our control.  Everything we have—our jobs, our health, our loved ones, and even our emotional well-being feel threatened right now.

Fear crouches on our doorstep ready to pounce.  Don’t feed it. Instead, take this verse in 1 Peter to heart:  Stand firm, resist, and be alert to what God is doing and saying; He is so much bigger than what is happening in our circumstances . Start the day with worship music and praise to our God who is still in complete control.

Thank Him for the restoration that WILL come.  Don’t stop praying for our leaders, medical personnel, the sick, the scared and the lonely.  Most of all, don’t stop believing that He is who He says He is!  Let go.  Let God!

LET GO & LET GOD

Be sober-minded, be alert.  Your adversary the devil is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for anyone he can devour.  Resist him, firm in the Faith, knowing that the same kind of sufferings are being experienced by your fellow believers throughout the world.

1 Peter 5:8-9

Father, I praise and glorify You for giving us Your Son, Jesus, as the sacrificial Lamb who redeemed us for now and eternity.

Holy Spirit, help us each day to honor that holy sacrifice with all that we have in our being. Let us never forget that love.
